Redirects and 404s

Go to ShadowSync SEO → Redirects.

Add a redirect

1. From URL: the old path, for example /old-page/.
2. To URL: where to send visitors. A path or a full address.
3. Redirect Type:
   • 301: permanent. Use this for most moves.
   • 302: temporary.
   • 307: temporary, and keeps the request method.
4. Click Add Redirect.

Redirects are listed under Active Redirects, where you can delete them.

Recent 404 errors

The Recent 404 Errors table lists addresses visitors asked for that do not exist, with how many times and when last. Click Redirect this on a row to start a redirect for it. Clear Log empties the table.

Import and export

Export CSV downloads every redirect. Import CSV adds redirects from a file in the same format:

/old-page/,/new-page/,301
/summer-sale/,/offers/,302

The header row is optional, and a missing or unknown type becomes 301. Rows whose From path already has a redirect are skipped.
