The plugin adds JSON-LD structured data to the page head.
What every site gets
- The home page: WebSite and Organization, with your custom logo if the theme has one.
- Every page except the home page: BreadcrumbList; see Breadcrumbs.
Choose a type per page or post
Open the Schema tab of the SEO box.
On a page, choose a Page Type:

On a post, choose an Article Type: Article, Blog Post, News Article or How-To Guide.
FAQ Page and How-To Guide
These two types are built from the page’s own content:
- FAQ Page: every H2, H3 or H4 heading that ends with a question mark becomes a question, answered by the text beneath it.
- How-To Guide: the items of the first numbered list in the post become the steps.
If an FAQ page has no question headings, it is marked up as a Web Page. If a how-to has fewer than two steps, it is marked up as an Article. Neither ever outputs invalid markup.
